Ingredients:
For the Steaks:
- 1 lb. Ground beef
- ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Large egg
- ½ Onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
For the Gravy:
- 2 tbsp. Butter
- 8 oz. Sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 2 tbsp. Flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steaks:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients together using your hands until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into four even patties.
2. Cook the Steaks:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the patties to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes on each side until evenly seared.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Gravy:
- In the same skillet, remove any excess fat and add butter.
