Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they\u2019re a nice alternative to traditional dressing baked in a casserole dish. While they\u2019re great served alongside your holiday bird, they\u2019re also a nice side to roasted chicken or pork chops any night of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup Celery Finely Chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup Parsley Chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tbsp Ground Sage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u00bd tsp Dried Thyme Leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp Kosher Salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp Black Pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 cup Low Carb Bread Toasted \/Chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 cup Cornbread Stuffing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Large Egg Slightly Beaten<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can Chicken Broth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Make Stuffing Balls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 degrees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prep a baking pan with nonstick baking spray.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add butter to a large skillet, heat to medium temperature. Saute the chopped onions for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add celery. Stir in parsley, sage, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook on medium, stirring often, for 5 minutes. Remove from the stove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the toasted and chopped lo-carb bread and the cornbread stuffing in a large bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir to blend the two together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the beaten egg and \u00be cup of the chicken broth to the bowl. Stir to mix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add in the sauteed onions, celery, and seasonings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use your hands to make small balls. Put the balls on the prepared baking sheet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gently pour the remaining chicken broth over the stuffing balls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return to the oven and continue to bake them at 375 degrees for 15 more minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These stuffing balls are a must-make recipe for Thanksgiving, passed down to me by my grandmother.
