These Perfectly Seasoned Roasted Potatoes are a deliciously crispy and flavorful side dish that’s easy to prepare and pairs well with almost any meal! Yukon Gold potatoes are tossed in a blend of olive oil, smoky paprika, garlic, cumin, and a hint of chili powder, then roasted to golden perfection. The high-heat baking brings out a beautifully crisp exterior while keeping the insides soft and tender. Perfect for brunch, dinner, or as a snack, these potatoes are sure to be a hit at your table with their irresistible, savory seasoning!

Ingredients

  • 6 large Yukon Gold potatoes
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (adjust for desired spice level)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 450°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Keep an eye on the potatoes during baking since this is a high-heat recipe.
  2. Prepare Potatoes
    Peel and dice the potatoes, then place them in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  3. Mix Seasoning
    In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to blend.
  4. Coat Potatoes
    Pour the seasoned olive oil mixture over the diced potatoes, stirring to ensure every piece is well coated.
  5. Bake
    Spread the potatoes in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even roasting.
  6. Check for Doneness
    The potatoes are ready when they’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If desired, season with a little extra salt before serving. Enjoy!
