  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Garlic, salt & pepper to taste

How To Make Hamburger Casserole:

  1. Cook Pasta: Begin by cooking the pasta shells according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  3. Brown Ground Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper (or your preferred seasoning) as it cooks.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Once the ground beef is cooked, add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, half cup of water, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Assemble Casserole: Transfer the mixture from the skillet into the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra golden finish, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes.
