This quick and easy tiramisu recipe is perfect for those who love the classic Italian dessert but don’t have much time to spare. It is light, creamy, and full of flavor, making it the perfect ending to any meal.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp rum or coffee liqueur (optional)
- 16 ladyfingers
- cocoa powder, for dusting
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Add the mascarpone cheese to the bowl and whisk until well combined and smooth.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cooled espresso or coffee and rum or coffee liqueur (if using).
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture and place in a single layer in the bottom of an 8×8 inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top of the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
